Day two wrap: India made a powerful response to England’s first-innings full of 477 after half-centuries from debutant Liam Dawson and number nine Adil Rashid underlined the tourists’ batting depth during the fifth and final Test.
India claimed three wickets at a successful second semester to the traveling side defeated the hosts on the next morning but that the partnership between Rashid and Dawson.
Lokesh Rahul along with Parthiv Patel’s makeshift opening set did a decent job, without being separated adding 60 runs although his shoulder while gagging hurts and could not come out to bat.
Rahul was unbeaten on 30 in stumps along with the right-hander will probably be happy to make amends before he’d shopped on Friday, with centurion Moeen Ali having lost. ()
